A különböző életkorából származó fotóival ilusztráltam a Hernyó szavait.
After the last two posts, I feel like I should get my blog back to the normal track…
I chose a picture for this from my most treasured book, Alice in Wonderland, which you already know.
In this scene the drugged Caterpillar sitting on the Magic Mushroom is burbling to Alice that we constantly change… I presented this change by showing the real people - who inspired Carroll's characters – in different views, e.g. the Catterpillar wearing the face of Sir Edward Fitzgerald turned into a butterfly. And as you may know, the whole fairytale was inspired by Carroll's little friend, Alice Liddel, yet a little girl when the story was created, and of whom personally Carroll took magnificent photos. But some photos have remained of Alice Liddel as an enchanting young lady, made by Julia Margaret Cameron. I was astonished to discover that one of the photographer's other set inspired a painting of one of my favourite preraffaelite painters, Dante Gabriel Rosetti. And I could even find a photo of elder Alice, wen she was called Mrs Hargreaves. So I illustrated the Catterpillar's words by pictures from her different ages.

Angolul is megtalálható a neten:

I love your Alice, and particularly your inclusion of Dodgson's photos of Alice Liddell. My favorite is the one of Alice sitting in profile in a chair that you incorporated into the picture "KonnytoRGB.jpg" in your August post. It's magic!

Sziasztok!

Hi Achlem! Nice to see you here, again! :) Thank you!

hello! I am a fan of yours from Italy. A friend of mine showed me your Alice book and I fell in love with it. I would like to buy it even if I don't understand ungarian. But from Italy it's impossible to get it. Do you know if there's a way to get it outside Hungary? on internet? (site in english). I run a blog about children book and I am practising to become an illustrator someday. I'd love to talk about your book in my space, so it's very important for me to buy it somewhere. Hope you could help me! many compliments for the faboulous work you made with Alice!! you rock!

Cara Kurachan :),

Auguri:
Kata.
